Corrections Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a special unit of the Correction's Division. The team consists of full-time corrections officers who use less-lethal methods of control. They deal with high risk situations in the detention facility.

Responsibilities

CERT handles crowd control, riot conditions, and security extractions of violent inmates. The team also executes high security shake downs to search the detention facility for contraband.
